The Police in Lagos has uncovered a house at Imodo compound, Ejigbo area of the state used as a brothel for all sorts of illicit sexual activities.
The house, a rented apartment, belonging to a 26-year-old single mother of one, Miss Blessing Okite, was busted by the police after concerned residents in the area who were bothered by the influx of men and women in the apartment alerted authorities.
Blessing, who lives with her 8-year-old daughter, was reportedly renting her apartment to sexual partners including homosexuals and lesbians.
She was said to have be making money from the business by collecting commission for each sex romp before the Police received information and busted the place.
Police intelligence officers at Ejigbo Division, led by CSP Olabisi Okuwobi, said when they stormed the place at about 1:30 am, there were some men and a pregnant lady, who were smoking hard drugs suspected to be Indian hemp.
Blessing who hails from Arochukwu in Abia State, reportedly told police that she started using her apartment for the business after her brothel at Agbole area was demolished by the Ejigbo Local Government.
Meanwhile, residents have urged the Police to ensure that Blessing did not return to the area again because she was allegedly using the dirty business to bring robbers, who use her base as take off point and return after operations.
Police sources who confirmed her arrest said that the place may likely be shut down, and Blessing to relocate.
Blessing may also be charged before the Court for running a brothel which is a criminal offence under the State laws.
