Stop Covid Lies Trends After Man Shares Video Of Empty Kano Isolation Centre Even With Over 900 Confirmed Coronavirus Cases In The State
A Nigerian man has raised alarm that an isolation center located at Sani Abacha stadium in Kano state, where coronavirus patients were allegedly admitted, is empty and under construction.
In a 44-seconds video that surfaced on the internet late Monday, the man disclosed that the facility is still under construction, as opposed to claims that the centre is in use.
He maintained that no treatment is ongoing in the isolation facility.
Other Nigerians have reacted to video which has since gone viral, using the hashtag #StopCovidlies on Twitter, demanding an explanation from Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) and Governor Abdullahi Ganduje.

According to NCDC’s latest COVID-19 data, Kano state, which is the second most hit states in Nigeria, officially has 919 confirmed cases and 38 casualties.
As at press time, Nigeria has a total of 8,068 coronavirus cases, with Lagos being the epicentre of the virus in the country having 3,595 cases.
