Breaking: NCDC Confirms 573 New Coronavirus Cases, 216 In Lagos
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has confirmed 573 new cases of coronavirus and 129 recoveries on Monday night.
According to the centre’s latest data posted on Twitter;

It would be recalled that on Sunday, the country’s total coronavirus exceeded the 16,000 mark, having 16,085 cases with 5,220 discharged patients and 420 causalities.
With the new toll, there are now 16,658 total cases, 5,349 recoveries and 424 death cases across the country.
Also, according to NCDC’s situation report, total samples tested nationwide have increased from 92,924 to 94,323 as at June 13th.
Meanwhile, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has warned that there are more coronavirus cases in the country than reported.
The Director-General of the NCDC, Dr. Chikwe Ihekweazu, said this on Monday during the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 press briefing in Abuja.
Ihekweazu urged Nigerians to shun social gatherings and also cautioned against the circulating belief that COVID-19 does not exist in Nigeria.
