Breaking: NCDC Confirms 587 New Coronavirus Cases, 344 Recoveries
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has confirmed 587 new cases of coronavirus and 344 recoveries on Wednesday night.
According to the centre’s latest data posted on Twitter;

It would be recalled that on Tuesday, the country’s total coronavirus exceeded the 17,000 mark, having 17,148 cases with 5,623 discharged patients and 455 causalities.
With the new toll, there are now 17,735 total cases, 5967 recoveries and 469 death cases across the country.
Also, according to NCDC’s situation report, total samples tested nationwide have increased from 96,402 to 103,799 as at June 16th.
In other news, the NCDC has announced the inclusion of four molecular laboratories coronavirus centre in the country.
The laboratories are located at 54gene laboratories in Ekiti, Abuja (to test returnees), eHealth laboratory in Kano and International Foundation Against Infectious Diseases in Nigeria (IFAIN) Lab, Kano.
It also stated that centers in Gombe and Ondo are in progress.
There are currently 38 laboratories in Nigeria with the capacity to test for #COVID19
