Breaking: NCDC Confirms 779 New COVID-19 Cases As Total Figure Exceeds 24,000
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has confirmed 779 new cases of coronavirus as total figure exceeds 24,000 nationwide.
According to the centre’s latest data posted on Twitter;

It would be recalled that on Friday, the country’s total coronavirus exceeded the 23,000 mark having 23,298 cases with 8253 discharged patients and 554 causalities.
With the new toll, there are now 24,077 total cases, 8,625 recoveries and 558 death cases across the country.
Also, according to NCDC’s situation report, total samples tested nationwide have moved from 125,090 to 127,158 as at June 26.
In other news, Lagos state Ministry of Health has announced the discharge of 55 coronavirus patients from its isolation facilities after full recovery.
The ministry made this known on its official Twitter page on Saturday, stating that the discharged patients which consists of 16 females and 39 males, include 16 foreign nationals.
It added that 14 were discharged from Onikan, Gbagada (5), Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital (5), Agidingbi (8), First Cardiology (4) and 9 from LUTH Isolation Centres.
There are now a total of 1419 successfully managed cases in Lagos.
