Gatherings are still not open of any form, we must avoid it either driving, shows, rallies of whatever categories, be responsible. Lifted restriction does not mean carelessness and that life is normal. Yes, there is a normal – but it is a new normal.
His warning comes 24 hours after the Federal Capital Territory Ministerial Task Team on COVID-19 shut the Jabi Lake Mall, Abuja indefinitely for violating the ban on public gathering, following backlash from many Nigerians on social media.
The mall was the venue of a drive-in concert hip-hop artiste, Azeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley flew into Abuja on Sunday to perform at.
