He Is Alive! Senator Ajimobi’s Aides And Family Quell Death Rumours
Aides and a family of immediate past Governor of Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi, have declared the Senator alive, contrary to circulating rumors.
Unconfirmed reports had circulated on Thursday night alleging that the former governor died from coronavirus complications as a result of underlying health conditions.
However, some of his aides have come out to deny the reports, insisting that the renown politician is alive, and has infact recovered from coronavirus.
In a Facebook post on Thursday night, Bolaji Tunji, who served as Ajimobi’s special adviser on communication and strategy during his second term in office, asked for prayers for his boss.
Similarly, renown journalist Olaleye Olawale debunked the death rumours, revealing that Senator has infact recovered from COVID-19.
Also, the Senator’s daughter-in-law, Fatima Ganduje-Ajimobi said;

However, MDB understands that he remains in a critical condition, having reportedly been on life support at a hospital in Lagos for over a week.
The death rumors come two days after he was named the acting National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress on Tuesday.
