“He Must Be Found And Arrested” – Twitter Users React To Viral Video Of Man Molesting Lady During Trip From Abuja To Akure
A video of a Nigerian man allegedly molesting a lady in a public vehicle en route from Abuja to Akure, Ondo state, has triggered outrage on social media platforms.
The video which has since gone viral was shared on Twitter by a user @DanielFaithArts on Monday, saying the victim who is his sister was sexually molested all through the journey.
He said the victim was accused of overreacting by some passengers in the vehicle when she raised the alarm, this prompted her to make the video.
In the 30-second footage, the alleged molester could be seen touching the lady’s thigh severely as they travelled.
His tweet reads;
This happened to a sister of mine today in a public transport. This man molested her all the way from Abuja to Akure, she screamed and the people in the bus said she was overreacting, so she made this video.
And even at that, a soldier on the road that she tried reporting to told her to keep quiet or be detained because the said man spoke to him in Hausa. Why is it that our ladies are no longer safe?
I am really livid. I just need someone to recognize him and help bring him to the fate animals like him deserve. Our girls are not safe with beasts like this roaming the street
The video has since triggered widespread condemnation and criticism from Nigerian Twitter users.
Several users have called for the identification, immediate arrest and prosecution of the culprit before he ‘preys on another victim.’
