Just In: Lagos Discharges 22 Recovered COVID-19 Patients
Lagos State Ministry of Health (LSMOH) has announced the discharge of 22 more coronavirus patients on Thursday after testing negative twice.
The ministry disclosed this on its official Twitter page, saying those discharged includes 6 female and 16 male.

LSMOH added that the patients were discharged from the Onikan, Gbagada, Agidingbi, Lekki, FCC and LUTH isolation centres.
This brings the total number of discharged patients in the state to 1,047.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Gombe State Task Force, Idris Mohammed, has confirmed the death of one Abubakar Mohammed from coronavirus.
The deceased is a Senior Registrar in Paediatrics at the Federal Teaching Hospital, Gombe.
According to Idris Mohammed, the man died three days ago but the COVID-19 test result returned positive on Friday.
The Chairman stated that the deceased was the first health worker to die of the virus in the state.
With this confirmation, there are now 12 coronavirus associated deaths in the state.
