Just In: NCDC Confirms 260 New Coronavirus Cases, 133 Recoveries
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has reported 260 new cases of coronavirus and 133 recoveries late Sunday.
The centre made this known on its official Twitter page, stating;

On Saturday, the country’s total coronavirus toll surpassed the 12,000 mark having 12,233 with 3,826 discharged patients and 342 causalities.
The figures have now increased to 12,486 total cases, 3959 recoveries and 354 death cases across the country.
Also, according to NCDC’s situation report, total samples tested nationwide have increased from 74,999 to 76,802 as at June 6th.
Meanwhile, the total number of recovered persons infected with coronavirus and discharged in Lagos State have surpassed the mark of 1,000, now having 1,025 recoveries.
This follows the discharge of 31 more patients from various isolation centres in the state where they were receiving treatment.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu announced the new figures in a statement on Sunday.
He revealed that the patients which comprise 25 males and six females were discharged from five treatment centres across the state.
These include the government isolation facilities in Onikan, Gbagada, Agidingbi, Lekki, and Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH).
