Nigerian artiste, Simi and her singer husband Adekunle Gold have welcomed their first child.
Simi took to Instagram to share the good news with a photo of her husband carrying the baby girl and also revealed her name as Adejare.
The celebrity couple had on Simi’s birthday, April 19th revealed through the video of the singer’s song ‘Duduke’ that they were expecting a child.
In the video of the song, Simi was seen posing in different dresses with her baby bump evident.
The announcement of their child comes a year and five months after the celebrity couple had a private marriage ceremony that had less than 300 people in attendance.
