102 Stranded Nigerians Arrive Abuja From Morocco
102 stranded Nigerians have arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja from Morocco on Thursday, July 30.
This was announced on the official Twitter handle of the Nigerians In Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM).
NiDCOM stated;
Air Morocco from Casablanca with estimated 102 Nigerians arrive Nnamdi Azikiwe Int’l Airport, Abuja at about 1602hrs from Morroco today 30th July 2020.

The commission noted that the evacuees tested negative to COVID-19 and will proceed on a mandatory self-isolation.

Also, 158 stranded Nigerian migrants from Niamey, Niger arrived Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport Abuja at about 10:00pm via Airpeace on 29th July, 2020.

However, one of the migrants named Aiahatu Abdullahi could not make the flight as she delivered of a baby boy on 24th July.
The new mother, her husband, the newborn child as well as three of their other kids will remain in Niger until another evacuation trip is organized.

Some few Nigerians were also unable to make the flight after testing positive to COVID-19.
Other evacuees tested negative to COVID-19 and are now on a 14 day self-isolation as mandated.
