212 Stranded Nigerians Return Home From Egypt
Federal Government has announced the arrival of another batch of 212 stranded Nigerians from Egypt on Friday.
The stranded Nigerians arrived in an Egyptair airline at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja on Friday, July 31, 2020.
Nigerians In Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM) announced this via Twitter on Friday.
It explained that the 212 evacuees tested negative for coronavirus before departing Khartoum, adding that they would undergo another COVID-19 test in the country.

The commission added that the returnees would undergo 14-day isolation in line with the guidelines of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control as well as the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19.

The evacuation comes a day after the arrival of 158 stranded Nigerians from the Niger Republic and 102 from Morocco.
