Breaking: NCDC Announces 499 New Coronavirus Cases
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has announced 499 new cases of coronavirus on Thursday night.
According to the centre’s latest data posted on Twitter;

On Wednesday, Nigeria hit the 30,000 mark of total coronavirus, having 30,249 cases with 12,373 discharged patients and 684 causalities.
With the new toll, there are now 30748 total cases, 12,546 recoveries and 689 death cases across the country.
Also, according to NCDC’s situation report, total samples have been tested nationwide, have increased from 169,629 to 171,931 as at July 8.
Meanwhile, acting Secretary of Health and Human Services Secretariat of Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), Dr Mohammed Kawu has tested positive for COVID-19.
Kawu, made the disclosure while briefing newsmen at the Asokoro District Hospital, where he is receiving treatment, on Thursday in Abuja.
The FCTA health secretary said that his family members who are infected are also being managed within the FCT.
