Breaking: NCDC Confirms 544 New Coronavirus Cases, 203 Recoveries
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has confirmed 544 new cases of coronavirus and 203 recoveries on Sunday night.
According to the centre’s latest data posted on Twitter;

On Saturday, the country’s total coronavirus exceeded the 28,000 mark having 28,167 cases with 11,462 discharged patients and 634 causalities.
However, with the new toll, there are now 28,711 total cases, 11,665 recoveries and 645 death cases across the country.
In addition, as at July 4th, total samples tested so far have increased from 148,188 to 151,121 according to NCDC’s situation report.
Meanwhile, forty-five recovered COVID-19 patients have been discharged by the Lagos State Government on Sunday.
The Lagos State Ministry of Health said this in a tweet on its handle where it explained that the recovered patients were discharged after testing negative to the virus.
While giving a breakdown of the figures, the Ministry said they comprised 18 females and 27 males including four foreign nationals.
With this, the number of COVID-19 cases successfully managed and discharged from Lagos Isolation Centres have risen to 1740.
