Breaking: NCDC Confirms 556 New Coronavirus Cases, 167 Recoveries
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has confirmed 556 new cases of coronavirus and 167 recoveries on Sunday.
According to the centre’s latest data posted on Twitter;

On Saturday, the country’s total coronavirus exceeded the 36,000 mark having 36,107 cases with 14,938 discharged patients and 778 causalities.
However, with the new toll, there are now 36,663 total cases, 15,105 recoveries and 789 death cases across the country.
Also, according to NCDC’s situation report, 212,201 samples have been tested nationwide as at July 18.
Meanwhile, Osun State has on Sunday discharged 11 coronavirus patients from its treatment and isolation centre.
Health Commissioner, Dr Rafiu Isamotu, who disclosed this in a statement, also announced the discovery of four new COVID-19 cases in the State.
Isamotu, while appealing to residents to always observe all precautionary measures laid down by the State against spread of the virus, noted the cases were contacts of previous cases in the State.
