Breaking: Total COVID-19 Figure Exceeds 26,000 As NCDC Confirms 790 New Cases, Highest Single Day Toll
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has confirmed that total COVID-19 figure has exceeded 26,000 nationwide after recording 790 new cases, highest single day toll so far.
It would be recalled that on Monday, the country’s total coronavirus exceeded the 25,000 mark.
According to the centre’s latest data posted on Twitter;

On Tuesday, there were 25,694 total cases, 9746 recoveries and 590 death cases across the country.
With the new toll, there are now 26,484 total cases, 10,152 recoveries and 603 death cases across the country.
Also, according to NCDC’s situation report, total samples tested nationwide have moved from 134,257 to 138,462 as at June 30.
Meanwhile, the NCDC has announced the inclusion of the 40th molecular laboratory coronavirus centre in the country.
The laboratory is located at Virology Laboratory at Federal Medical Centre, Owo, Ondo State.
It also stated that one center in Gombe state progress.
