Breaking: Total COVID-19 Toll Surpasses 37,000 As NCDC Confirms 562 New Cases
Nigeria’s tally of COVID-19 cases has risen to over 37,000 as the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms 562 new infections.
NCDC made the announcement on Monday via its Twitter handle, bringing total confirmed infections to 37,225 cases.

The new toll comes two days after total infections figure in Nigeria spiked to over 36,000 cases.
Also, successfully managed cases have increased from 15,105 recorded on Sunday to 15,333.
However, death toll has risen from 789 confirmed yesterday to 801 casualties nationwide.
Also, according to NCDC’s situation report, total samples tested nationwide have increased from 212,201 to 214,228 as at July 19
Meanwhile, Osun State Government has discharged 10 recovered coronavirus patients from the its treatment and isolation centre.
The Health Commissioner, Dr Rafiu Ismontu stated this in a statement on Monday, July 20.
He also admonished residents of the State not to ignore the observance of all precautionary measures laid down by the State government.
