COVID-19: 246 Nigerians Evacuated From Dubai
246 evacuees have arrived Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos from United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Wednesday July 6.
Nigerians In Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM) announced the development on Twitter, saying;

EVACUATION UPDATE:246 Evacuees arrive Murtala Muhammed Int’l Airport, Lagos at exactly 3:30 pm local time via @emirates from UAE today, Wednesday 8th of July, 2020.
A big thank you to the Nigerian Mission in Dubai and the UAE government for paying for the flight..

NiDCOM also thanked the Nigerian Mission in Dubai and the UAE government for paying for the flight tickets and the cost of COVID-19 test for 131 evacuees.

In the same vein, the third batch of 162 evacuees have departed New Delhi on Air Peace flight to Nigeria.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, disclosed the development on his Twitter handle, Geoffrey Onyeama.
The third batch of 162 evacuees has departed New Delhi, #India on @FlyAirpeace. The combined flight to Abuja and Lagos will first land at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja to disembark 48 passengers…

Onyeama said the combined flight to Abuja and Lagos from New Delhi, will touch down at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, before proceeding to Lagos.

He disclosed that all evacuees, upon arrival in the country, will proceed on the mandatory 14 days self-isolation as directed by the Federal Government.
