Federal Government
has evacuated 322 stranded Nigerians from the United States due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM) announced this on Saturday via its Twitter handle.

It tweeted;

NiDCOM stated that all evacuees tested negative to COVID-19 and will proceed on 14 days self isolation.

Few hours after the US evacuees got into the country, 109 evacuees from India also arrived at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.

All evacuees tested negative to COVID-19 and will proceed on 14 days self isolation.

Since the global outbreak of coronavirus, over 2,000 Nigerians have so far been evacuated from various parts of the world.
