Tyrese Devon Haspil, a 21-year-old former personal assistant to late tech CEO Fahim Saleh has been arrested on Friday morning as the prime suspect in the murder of his former boss.

MDB reported earlier that Fahim was killed by a professional who was dressed in a mask, gloves and hat and wearing what police sources described as a ‘ninja outfit.’

The Times said that detectives believe the motive for Hapsil allegedly killing Saleh stemmed from when he discovered that his assistant had stolen tens of thousands of dollars from him.

Saleh however did not report the man to the police instead he brokered a repayment plan with Hapsil.

According to Times, Saleh was killed on Monday, with Haspil allegedly first zapping him with a Taser, fatally stabbing him. He then allegedly returned the next day to chop up Saleh’s body and clean up the crime scene,

Law enforcement officers told the Daily Beast that they placed their attention on Haspil after finding messages where Saleh accused him of stealing the money.

They also told the outlet that, after running a credit-card check, they found out that Haspil’s card was used to buy a saw and cleaning products as well as rides to and from the crime scene.

He is expected to be charged in a criminal complaint with second degree murder and other crimes.

The police are to announce the arrest at a news conference later on Friday.
