Just In: NCDC Confirms 571 New COVID-19 Cases As Total Figure Exceeds 32,000
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has confirmed that total COVID-19 figure has exceeded 32,000 nationwide after recording 571 new cases.
It would be recalled that on Friday, the country’s total coronavirus exceeded the 31,000 mark.
According to the centre’s latest data posted on Twitter;

On Saturday, there were 31,987 total cases, 13,103 recoveries and 724 death cases across the country.
With the new toll, there are now 32,558 total cases, 13,447 recoveries and 740 death cases across the country.
Meanwhile, according to NCDC’s situation report, overall samples tested nationwide have increased from 178,265 to 181,248 as at July 11.
Secretary to the Delta State Government (SSG), Mr Chiedu Ebie, has been discharged from an isolation centre in Asaba after 21 days of undergoing treatment for COVID-19.
Mr Olisa Ifeajika, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, said Ebie was discharged on Sunday after testing negative for the virus.
He said the SSG’s discharge brought the number of discharged cases of the virus in the state to 583.
