Justice For Izu: Young Man Kills Himself After Being Accused Of Sexual Assault, Name Added To ‘Register Of Rapists’ On Twitter (photos)

A young man named Madubueze Izuchuckwu has taken his own life after a certain lady accused him of sexual assault and added him to a ‘register of rapists’ on the micro-blogging platform, Twitter.

According to a Twitter user who narrated the incident through his handle @KhalidOshoke, the deceased was accused and added to the register by a lady named Nani @nanichianese, whose account has now been deactivated.

Khalid Oshoke stated that the young man pleaded with the curator of the register to tell him who his accuser was but she refused.

Someone was accused of nonphysical sexual assault and added to a list of rapists.

The young man pleaded with the curator of said list to tell him who his accuser was, the curator refused.

The young man has committed suicide and the curator has locked her account.

He went on to share screenshots of how the  deceased’s attempted to address the situation and clear his name of any charge.

Before he passed, Izu reached out to Nani asking to know who he harassed but she refused to tell him.

She only claimed the accuser wanted to remain anonymous and that the alleged victim said it was a ‘non physical sexual assault’.

Izu revealed that he made several attempts to clear his name and get more clarity on the matter but his effort was futile.

Izu later sent an apology message to Nani, who is the middleman between him and the alleged victim. He however stated that he is not still aware of what his offence was or who he assaulted.

Izu eventually took his life after which Nani deactivated her account when his death was made public.

According to unconfirmed reports, Nani and the alleged victim falsely accused him of sexual assault after he turned down one of their friends.

Many Nigerians are now demanding justice for the deceased who was falsely accused of sexual assault.
