Ogun, Ekiti, Bayelsa, Cross River Get New Police Commissioners
Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, has approved the posting of new Commissioners of Police to Ogun, Ekiti, Bayelsa and Ondo States.
The Nigeria Police Force made this known via its official Twitter page on Tuesday, saying the posting is with immediate effect.

The Inspector General of Police, IGP M.A. Adamu, NPM, mni has ordered the posting of the following Commissioners of Police to States as follows:

CP Edward Awolowo Ajogun is posted to Ogun State; CP Mobayo Babatunde is to report to Ekiti State; CP Abdulakadir Jimoh is deployed to Cross River while CP Okoli C. Michael is to head Bayelsa State command.

This comes two days after the IGP decorated 10 newly promoted senior police officers at the Force Headquarters, Abuja.
The decoration ceremony came on the heels of the recent promotion of 6,601 personnel of the Force including one DIG, four AIGs, three CPs, three DCPs, eight CSPs, 607 SPs, 206 DSPs and 5,769 ASPs.
