Two Policemen Arrested For Sexually Harassing Lady In Viral Video
Following investigations into the dehumanising treatment of a lady in a viral video, the Nigeria Police Force, has identified three police officers and one civilian accomplice, who participated in the unprofessional act.
In a viral video, some officers had met the lady named Towobola at the home of a suspected kidnapper and armed robber who they were on operation to arrest.
The policemen, after taking the kidnap suspect away, began to interrogate the handcuffed lady, asking her unwarranted questions about her sex life.
After the video caught the attention of the police force, the IGP, Adamu Mohammed ordered a thorough investigation to unravel the identity of the officers and bring them to book.
In an update late Thursday, Police through its Twitter handle @PoliceNG has now revealed that two of the suspects, ASP Tijani Olatunji and Inspector Gboyega Oyeniyi, have been arrested “for their role in the discreditable conduct and incivility to a member of the public.”
