87 Nigerians Arrive In Abuja From Sudan
Eighty-seven Nigerians evacuated from Sudan by the Federal Government have arrived in Abuja on Saturday, August 8.
Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM) disclosed this via its official Twitter page, adding that Air Sudan flight conveyed the returnees.
According to the agency, the flight landed at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, at about 09:15 am.

The returnees are to undergo mandatory self-isolation in line with guidelines from the Presidential Task Force and the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
Meanwhile, Nigerians aboard an Air Peace flight P47854 from London, United Kingdom are to arrive in the country on Saturday evening.
They will arrive Nnamdi Azikiwe Int’l Airport Abuja around 6pm to proceed on a 14-day self-isolation.

The evacuation process is part of the fulfillment of the Federal Government’s promise to help stranded Nigerians across the world return home.
