Big Brother Naija 2019 first runner up, Mike Edwards has shared a heartwarming video of his wife, Perri Shakes-Drayton delivering their son through water birth at a hospital.
Water birth is the process of giving birth in a tub of warm water. Some women choose to labor in the water and get out for delivery. Other women decide to stay in the water for the delivery as well.
It would be recalled that the couple welcomed their first child on Wednesday, August 26 but no official post was made on their social media pages.

Posting the delivery video on Instagram on Thursday, August 27, Mike also announced the name of their son as Mathew Olaoluwa Edwards.
In the short video, Perri is seen laying in a bathtub filled with water while being surrounded by her husband and a midwife. At one point, the retired British track and field athlete screamed in agony as she began to push out her baby.
According to the couple, they welcomed the child after 12 hours of labor.
Mike and Perri dated for several months before they got married in 2018.
