Breaking: NCDC Announces 304 New Coronavirus Cases
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 304 confirmed COVID-19 cases on Sunday night.
In the centre’s latest data posted on Twitter, there are now;

It would be recalled that on Saturday, the country’s total coronavirus was 43,537 with 20,087 discharged patients and 883 causalities.
With the new toll, there are now 43,841 total cases, 20,308 recoveries and 888 death cases across the country.
Also, according to NCDC’s situation report, total samples tested nationwide have increased from 283,916 to 286,091 as at August 1.
In other news, Lagos State government on Sunday, announced the recovery and discharge of 37 coronavirus patients from its isolation centres.
Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu in a statement said the patients, including 31 Nigerians and six foreigners, were discharged after testing negative twice for the virus.
The patients; 8 from Agidingbi; 7 from Onikan; 7 from Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba; 1 from Gbagada; 2 from First Cardiology and 12 from LUTH Isolation Centres, were discharged after full recovery.
He urged Lagosians to always stay safe by maintaining physical distancing, practising hand hygiene, masking up and taking responsibility for a COVID-19-free Lagos.
