Breaking: NCDC Confirms 453 New Cases, 334 Recoveries
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 453 new cases and 334 recoveries on Wednesday, August 10.
According to NCDC’s latest data posted on Twitter, there are now;

It would be recalled that on Tuesday, Nigeria’s total COVID-19 toll surpassed 67,000 recording 47,290 cases, 33,609 recoveries and 956 fatalities across the country.
However, with the new toll, there are now 47,743 total cases, 33,943 recoveries and 956 deaths across the country.
Also, an August 11 situation report of NCDC stated that total samples tested nationwide have increased from 321,951 to 338,084.
In other news, Foreign Affairs Minister, Geoffrey Onyeama, has tested negative for coronavirus after three weeks in isolation.
MDB reported on July 19 that the ministers fourth COVID-19 test came back positive as he experienced slight irritation in his throat.

In a new development, Onyeama announced his recovery from the virus via his Twitter handle on Wednesday, August 12.
Also in a video clip from the Foreign Affairs Ministry in Abuja, Onyeama was seen resuming duty on Wednesday morning, to the cheering welcome of staff of the Ministry.
