Breaking: NCDC Confirms 457 New Coronavirus Cases, 314 Recoveries
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced 457 new coronavirus cases and 314 recoveries on Wednesday, August 5.
In the centre’s latest data posted on Twitter, there are now;

It would be recalled that on Tuesday, Nigeria recorded 44,433 total cases, 31,851 recoveries and 910 death cases across the country.
According to the new toll, there are now 44,890 total cases, 32,165 recoveries and 927 death cases across the country.
Also, with NCDC’s August 3 situation report, total samples tested nationwide have increased from 287,532 to 304,221.
Meanwhile, NCDC has announced the inclusion of the General Sani Abacha State Specialist Hospital, Yobe to the centre’s Molecular Laboratory Network.
There are currently 62 laboratories with the capacity to test for COVID-19 in the NCDC laboratory network.
