Just In: Lagos APC Chieftain, Lanre Rasak Dies At 74
A chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Lanre Rasak, and a member of Governor’s Advisory Committee (GAC), the highest decision-making body in Lagos State, has passed on.
According to reports, Chief Rasak died on Saturday, August 15 as a result of an undisclosed ailment.
The APC chieftain was said to have taken ill for some weeks and was already recovering before he passed on at age 74.
Chief Razak aspired to pick his party’s ticket for the Lagos East senatorial district, but withdrew, before the primary.
He will be buried on Sunday, August 16, according to Muslim rites.
