Just In: NCDC Confirms 443 New Coronavirus Cases, 207 Recoveries
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 443 new coronavirus cases and 207 recoveries on Friday, August 7.
In the centre’s latest data posted on Twitter, there are now;

It would be recalled that on Thursday, Nigeria’s total COVID-19 toll exceeds 45,000 with 45,255, 32,430 recoveries and 930 death cases across the country.
According to the new toll, there are now 45,687 total cases, 32,637 recoveries and 936 casualties across the country.
Also, with NCDC’s August 6, situation report, total samples tested nationwide have increased from 306,894 to 310,729.
Meanwhile, Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi said 66,431 COVID-19 sample tests had been carried out in the state since the inception of the pandemic.
Abayomi disclosed this on his Twitter account while giving an update on the COVID-19 for August 5.
