Actor Kevin Hart has revealed he tested positive for coronavirus earlier in the year.
Hart, 41 revealed this over the weekend while performing at the latest iteration of Dave Chappelle’s ‘An Intimate Socially Distanced Affair’ show in Yellow Springs, Ohio.
Page Six reports that Chappelle has spent $100,000 on coronavirus rapid testing for attendees of the outdoor shows he held this summer, with other performers including Donnell Rawlings, Bill Burr, Michelle Wolf, Questlove and Tobe Nwigwe.
The Jumanji actor revealed that;
The problem is that I had it around the same time as Tom Hanks, and I couldn’t say anything because he’s more famous than I am.
Tom Hanks and wife Rita Wilson revealed they tested positive for COVID-19 on March 11, but have since recovered from the deadly disease.
Hart survived the virus less than a year after he broke his back in a September 1, 2019 car crash in Malibu Hills, California.
The star suffered physical injuries in the accident that required him to have three areas of his spine fused together in emergency surgery which was followed by a rigorous rehabilitation program.
Meanwhile, Hart and his wife, Eniko who are expecting the birth of their second child celebrated the imminent birth of their daughter with a stylish boho-inspired baby shower over the weekend.
The proud mother, 36, who is expecting her second child for the actor, took to Instagram to share photos from the baby shower with their other children in attendance.
For Kevin, the newborn will be his fourth child as he already has a 2-year-old son with Eniko and shares daughter Heaven, 15, and son Hendrix, 12, with his ex-wife, Torrei Hart.
