I never stopped checking NCDC updates on COVID, recently the figures started going down with no explanation(less testing or more positives), now they’re discharging thousands overnight. This is why I really can’t can with this country.

Do you still wash your hands and keep a distance as adviced by Nigeria centre for ‘deceit’ and control (NCDC) or I should just mind my business ?🚶🏼♂️🚶🏼♂️

It’s agenda…they want to show low figures so they can fully go back to normal as if nothing happened. Funny, NCDC which should act on scientific basis is political.

Meanwhile, in the last seven days, there has been steady drop in numbers of confirmed cases was observed. The number of cases recorded on July 29 (404), July 30 (481), July 31 (462), August 1 (386), August 2 (304), August 3 (288), and August 4 (304).
However, National Coordinator of COVID-19 Presidential Task Force, Dr. Sani Aliyu in his reaction said the decrease in the number of cases recorded were as a result of the reduction in the numbers of COVID-19 samples collected across the country, especially during the Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
He urged Nigerians to desist from drawing conclusions that the COVID-19 curve of the country had started to gradually wane, based on the decline in cases in the last few days.
