A clash between members of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB) and security agents clashed at Emene, Enugu State has led to the death of two persons on Sunday, August 23.
According to reports, many others also got injured in the fight is said to have started at about 7:00am when some policemen invaded Community Secondary School in Emene where members of IPOB were meeting to disperse and arrest them.
It was gathered the attempt was resisted by IPOB members as they reportedly overpowered the security operatives.
The security officers in turn called for reinforcement as patrol vehicles loaded with armed policemen and DSS personnel arrived at the scene, arresting some Biafrans.
The number of casualties, as at the time of filing this report, was yet to be known.

We have reports that police officers, this morning, stormed the meeting venue of members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and started shooting at sight.
