WAEC Debunks Reports That Mathematics Question Paper Leaked On Social Media
West Africa Examinations Council (WAEC) has debunked reports that a leaked mathematics examination question paper has been in circulation on social media.
Senior School Certificate Examination, as announced by WAEC, started today, August 17 with Mathematics subject and is scheduled to end September 7.

However, a leaked mathematics question paper has allegedly been circulation since Sunday night with screenshots of the purported questions being shared on social media.
One concerned Nigerian on Twitter who spoke up about the alleged questions wrote;
WAEC maths paper scheduled for today has leaked since weekend according to sources. What kind of a country is this for God’s sake? I hope the people responsible will be investigated and punished as appropriate.

However, WAEC, in its response via its official Twitter handle, said the leaked paper is fake and that only gullible candidates fall prey.

Chemistry practicals to hold on August 7 and 18 from 09:30 a.m. while Essay and Objective to hold on September 2 from 02:00 p.m.
Physics practicals to hold on August 8 and 20 from 09:30 a.m. while Essay and Objective to hold on August 28 from 09:30 a.m.
Economics (Essay and Objective) to hold on August 19 from 09:30 a.m. while Agricultural Science (Essay and Objective) to hold on same day from 02:00 p.m.
History (Essay and Objective) to hold on August 20 from 02:00 p.m.
Literature-In-English (Prose, Objective, Drama and Poetry) to hold on August 21 from 09:30 a.m.
Principles of Cost Accounting 2 (Essay and Objective) to hold on August 26 from 02:00 p.m.
