BBNaija Was Not Created For The Poor Alone – Kiddwaya’s Father, Terry Waya Tells Viewers Criticising Son Over His Rich Background (video)
Terry Waya, father of Big Brother Naija season 5 housemate, Kiddwaya, has told viewers criticising his son over his rich background that winning the N85 million grand prize for the show is not a poverty alleviation scheme.
The billionaire businessman said this during an Instagram live interview with BBC pidgin where he maintained that his son, Kiddwaya enjoys the same right to win the money just like every other contestant.
Kiddwaya’s father expressed that his son has all it takes to win the show despite being from a rich background.
Waya, speaking in pidgin English, noted that the show is not being watched by the poor alone, insisting that the rich also spend their time watching it.
He added that it is the money contributed by both the poor and the rich through voting, adverts and others means that is awarded to the winner at the end of the show.
