Emir Of Zazzau, Shehu Idris Dies At 84
Emir of Zazzau, in Kaduna State, Alhaji Shehu Idris has passed away at 84.
Bashir Ahmad, Personal Assistant to President Buhari on new media, made the announcement in a tweet on Sunday, September 20.
The monarch who was appointed on 15th February, 1975 reportedly died at an Army 44 Reference Hospital in Kaduna state after a short admission.

The Emir of Zazzau, Alhaji (Dr.) Shehu Idris died at the age of 84, he had been on the throne for over 40 years. May Allah (SWA) forgive all his shortcomings and grant him Jannah al-Firdaus.

The late monarch is the 18th fulani ruler of the Emirate. Until his death, he was the chairman of the state council of Traditional rulers.
He is survived by 4 wives and dozens of children and grand as well as great-grandchildren.
