American rapper, Cardi B has opened up about her reason for filing for a divorce from her husband, Offset.
MDB reported that the ‘WAP’ singer filed for divorce from Offset on Tuesday, September 15 after being married for three years.

Court documents obtained by Billboard indicate that Cardi B is asking the court to award her primarily legal and physical custody of their two-year-old child, Kulture.
Speaking during an Instagram Live session late Friday, Cardi B appreciated her fans for the love and support she has received since the news became public.
She stated;
Thank you all the love and prayers. However, I don’t really need it. I’m okay. I wanted to let y’all know I have not shed not one tear. Every single time that this guy has been so crazy, so f**ed up and it hits the media, I’m always crying, always sad because I don’t like that type of s**t. This time, I wasn’t crying. You want to know why?
Although, Offset, 28 reportedly cheated in the past, Cardi insisted the split was not caused by him being unfaithful.
The rapper explained;
The reason is for my divorce is not because of none of that s**t. that ever happened before. It’s not because of cheating. I’m seeing people be like, ‘Oh, he has a baby on the way.’ That’s a whole f***ing complete lie. That’s the second time people are trying to pin babies over here. No, that’s bulls**t.
The WAP star went on to reveal that she made the decision to end their relationship because they were constantly arguing.
She stressed;
I just got tired of arguing. I got tired of not seeing things eye to eye. When you feel like it’s just not the same anymore, before you actually get cheated on, I’d rather just leave.
Cardi also clarified that she did not file for divorce as a publicity stunt for her upcoming album, stressing;
Nothing crazy out of this world happened, sometimes people really do grow apart. I been with this man for four years. I have a kid with this man, I have a household with this man. sometimes you’re just tired of the arguments and the build up. You get tired sometimes and before something happens, you leave.
According to Billboard, their hearing in court is scheduled for November 4, 2020.
