Just In: NCDC Confirms 125 New Cases, 188 Recoveries, 21 Casualties
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded 125 new cases, 188 recoveries and 21 casualties on Thursday, September 3.
In the centre’s latest data posted on Twitter, there are now;

It would be recalled that Nigeria’s total COVID-19 toll was 54,463 with 42,439 recoveries and 1027 casualties across the country.
With the announcement of new toll today, there are now 54,588 total cases, 42,627 recoveries and 1048 fatalities nationwide.
Also, on September 2, NCDC’s situation report stated that total samples tested nationwide have increased from 411,077 to 413,265.
Meanwhile, NCDC has announced the inclusion of two new GeneXpert labs in Taraba State to the centre’s Molecular Laboratory Network.
One is located in Taraba State Specialist Hospital, Jalingo and another in General Hospital, Takum.
This brings the number of labs with COVID-19 testing capacity in the centre’s lab network to 68.
