Men of the Rivers State Police Command have arrested a wanted armed robber and kidnapper popularly known as Bobisky, on Saturday, sparking jubilation from residents of the state.
Bobisky, whose real name is Honest Digbara, was arrested early Saturday at Korokoro in the Tai Local Government Area in a sting operation led by the Divisional Police Officer of Bori, Superintendent Bako Angbashim with support from a local vigilance group in Tai Local Government Area (TaiOSPAC).

He was paraded at the headquarters of the command on Mosco Road, Port Harcourt.
Governor Nyesom Wike had earlier placed a N30 million bounty on Bobisky, saying he will reward any member of the public who can provide useful information that will lead to the arrest of the criminal.
The suspect has been terrorising the Ogoni axis and its environs, responsible for violent crimes like kidnapping, armed robbery, cultism and murder in Ogoniland.
According to Sunday Sun, security team, following a tip off, stormed a burial ceremony in Korokoro Tai, where Bobisky was hired for security purpose at about 2:30am this morning (Saturday).
A community source told the publication that on sighting the police and TaiOSPAC, Bobisky alongside his gang members opened fire on them (police).
However, the police and TaiOSPAC overpowered his gang, killing Bobisky’s brother, who was his getaway driver, while the suspect was arrested alive.
