Six Shops Burnt In Ogudu, Lagos Fire (photos)
Six shops at Ogudu Police Barracks in Ogudu axis of Lagos state have been razed in a fire incident that occurred at dawn of Thursday, September 17.
Lagos State Emergency Management (LASEMA) made the announcement on Thursday through its spokesman, Nosa Okunbor.
He stated that six from the 17 shops were razed in the incident while 11 were salvaged and the fire totally extinguished by combined efforts of the Agency’s Response Team and the Lagos Fire Service.
Okunbor however expressed that the cause of fire is however yet to be ascertained and no life was lost.
Activities conducted in the razed shops by the fire outbreak at dawn involved two fashion design services, a pawn shop, event planning wares shop, a sport betting outlet and a Barber’s shop.
