Twitter Rant: ‘PDP Needs To Explain What Happened To My Father In Hotel Room’ – Singer, Rema Calls Out Party Over Death Of Justice Ikubor In 2008
Young musician, Divine Ikubor better known as Rema has made a shocking revelation in his Twitter outburst.
Rema took his Twitter account in the early hours of Monday, September 28 highlighting his past and present experiences in the music industry via series of tweets.
However, in one of the tweets, which has now been deleted, he called out the party to give an explanation about what happened to his father, Justice Ikubor in 2008.
The PDP Chieftain in Edo state and former General Manager of Ethiopie Publishing Company in the state was found dead in a hotel room in Benin City on May 8, 2008.
Nigerian Tribune reported that Idubor checked in with a female friend at about 8:30 p.m on the day he died.
The lady reportedly left the hotel premises after spending some hours with the deceased.
It was said that when there was no sign of the presence of the PDP chieftain the next morning, the room in which he lodged was forced open by the staff members of the hotel and his lifeless body was found on the bed.
According to the publication, empty cans of popular energy drink/stimulant littered the hotel room.
Speaking in relation to this today, Rema stated that PDP needs to explain what happened to his father, adding that; “Justice Ikubor’s son has risen”.
The artiste also insinuated that his tweets about PDP were deleted by his management.
Y’all deleting my tweets. Okay!
