Actress Lori Loughlin Reports To Prison After Pleading Guilty In College Admission ScandalActress Lori Loughlin has reported to a federal prison in Dublin, California, to start a two-month sentence after she and her husband pled guilty to committing fraud to get their daughters into the University of Southern California in the 2019 college admissions scandal known as “Operation Varsity Blues”.

The 55-year-old ‘Full House’ actress, surrounded herself at the Federal Correctional Institution in Dublin, California, near San Francisco on Friday, October 30.

The actress pleaded guilty to fraud earlier this year after paying $500,000 to get their two daughters, daughters, Bella, 21, and Olivia Jade, 20, into the University of Southern California as fake crew team recruits.

She was sentenced in August to two months in prison, two years of supervised release with 100 hours of community service, and a $150,000 fine.

Her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, who was also involved was sentenced to five months in prison and is expected to report to prison by November 19. His deal included two years of supervised release, 250 hours of community service, and a $250,000 fine.

Actress, Felicity Huffman also took part in the scheme, that was masterminded by. She was sentenced to two weeks in prison.

Loughlin and Giannulli are among 57 people who have been charged in the sprawling college cheating scandal — dubbed Operation Varsity Blues by the FBI — that rocked college admissions offices and shook public trust in the system.

The mastermind of the scheme and founder of Edge College & Career Network, Rick Singer, has pleaded guilty but remains unsentenced as federal prosecutors continue to use him as a cooperating witness.

He and a group of coaches and administrators offered parents options of cheating on standardized tests or bribing their way into college through a side door, all for a hefty fee.
