Buhari Holds Virtual Meeting With Gowon, Obasanjo, Other Former Leaders
President Muhammadu Buhari has commenced a meeting with some former Nigerian leaders as well as current heads of security agencies and top government officials.
Bashir Ahmad, Personal Assistant on New Media to President Muhammadu Buhari, disclosed this on his twitter handle on Friday.
While Buhari is presiding from the Council Chamber of the Presidential Villa, Abuja, some of the former Nigerian leaders are participating virtually.

Those participating virtually include General Yakubu Gowon (retd.); former President Olusegun Obasanjo; Gen Abdulsalami Abubakar (retd.); former President Goodluck Jonathan, Ibrahim Babangida and Chief Ernest Shonekan.

Those physically present at the Council Chambers with the President include Vice President Yemi Osinbajo; Secretary to Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha; Chief of Staff to the President, Professor Ibrahim Gambari and National Security Adviser, Major General Babagana Monguno.
Others include the Chief of Defence Staff, General Gabriel Olanisakin; Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu; Director-General, Department of State Services, Yusuf Bichi, and Director-General, National Intelligence Agency, Ahmed Rufai.
Although the agenda of the meeting is not made public, the meeting is not unconnected with the crisis engulfing the nation occasioned by soldiers shooting #EndSARS protesters in Lekki area of Lagos state and violence in other parts of the country, leaving many injured and some dead.
