Protest against police brutality at Lekki toll gate have continued despite the 24-hour curfew imposed on the state earlier on Tuesday October 20, by the state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
The protesters gathered at the tollgate and have said they will remain there for the next 24-hours, despite appeal from many Nigerians to suspend protest.

Lagos State police command also announced today that any any form of protest or gathering in the state is no longer permitted.
The command’s Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, made this known in a statement, citing violent attacks on officers, men, formations and innocent Nigerians at different parts of the metropolis during #EndSARS protest as reasons for the decision.

Adejobi said all security agencies have deployed adequate personnel to take charge and enforce the curfew, which is to take effect from today, 4pm.
Meanwhile, many Nigerians have raised alarm over the alleged removal of security cameras at the protest location.
According to a Twitter user, some men cut off security cameras at Lekki toll gate, claiming they were sent by the government.
