According to multiple reports, the fire started at about 1:30am this morning when a tanker went up in flames.
Residents of the area took to Twitter to call for help and express concern for their lives and properties as petrol laden trucks continued to burn, as at then.
Some of the videos shared on Twitter showed the fire raging on for a while while residents awaited the fire service to help subdue the fire.
Reports say the fire was eventually put out at about 2:30am but properties had reportedly been lost and there has been no account of life lost in the incident, as at the time of filing this report.
