Nollywood actress, Eniola Badmus has dismissed reports that she was shot during the Lekki toll gate gun attack on peaceful #EndSARS protesters on Tuesday night, October 20.
MDB earlier reported that some Military men on Tuesday allegedly attacked the protesters at Lekki.
It was also reported that bullets fired by military personnel hit some persons and at least 7 persons has been reported dead and many injured.
Subsequently, there were reports online that a woman who looked like her was shot at the protest ground and this led many people to believe it was the actress.
She has however taken to her Instagram page to make a three-minute video to debunk the report, urging her friends, family and fans not to cry for her as she is alive; hale and hearty.
The actress made the video in her house to allay the fears of her loved ones emphasising that she is not in the hospital.
Badmus said;
Against all speculations about me being shot or dead at the unspeakable incident that happened at the toll gate a few hours ago, I would like to inform you guys that I Eniola Badmus is hale and hearty.
This is me, life and direct. Wow! I thank you so much, thank you so much to everyone that actually reached out to me. I am hale and hearty, there is nothing wrong with me I did not even go out today. Please do not cry for me, I am hale and hearty. There is nothing wrong with me. I am at home as you can see, I am not in the hospital; I am not in any kind of critical situation, look at me I am at home.
I am hale and hearty guys. There is nothing wrong with me. Oh my God! I came back from road walk, I left my phones at home only for me to get back, I went into the shower. I decided to go through my phone and saw 300 missed calls. I was shocked.
