NCDC Records 120 New Coronavirus Cases, 183 Recoveries, No Death
Nigeria has recorded 120 new coronavirus infections, 183 recoveries and no new death on Monday, October 5.
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) gave a breakdown of where the new cases were reported via its official Twitter handle, stating;

On Sunday, there was 59,345 total cases, 50,768 discharged and 1,113 fatalities across the country.
The newly recorded infections have now put total COVID-19 cases at 59,465, 59,951 discharged and 1,113 fatalities across the country.
Meanwhile, overall samples tested nationwide, have increased from 535,773 to 536,695 according to NCDC‘s October 4 situation report.
In other news, NCDC through its National Reference Laboratory (NRL) have established molecular lab networks to test for Lassa fever, Yellow fever, Measles, Rubella and COVID-19 in the country.
