Ogun Gov. Appoints BBNaija Winner Laycon As Youth Ambassador, Gifts Him 3-Bedroom Bungalow, N5million

Ogun state Governor, Dapo Abiodun has appointed the winner of the 2020 Big Brother Naija Season 5, Olamilekan Agbelesebioba better known as Laycon, as Youth Ambassador of the state.

The governor also named the 26-year-old rapper as a member of Ogun State Executive Council, gifted him the sum of N5m and a three-bedroom bungalow.

Abiodun disclosed this on Tuesday while playing host to Laycon in his Oke-Mosan office in Abeokuta, the state capital.

The governor congratulating Laycon on his success at the reality show, said;

ON BEHALF OF THE GOVERNMENT AND GOOD PEOPLE OF OGUN STATE, I JOIN YOUR FANS ACROSS THE WORLD TO WELCOME YOU TO YOUR HOME STATE.

Once again, I congratulate you and on this note, I hereby appoint you as Youth Ambassador of Ogun State. I look forward to working with you to be a  model of good character, excellence, good virtues, calmness, integrity that are general attributes of Ogun State, and in fact, your homestead, Odeda.

I want to motivate you and motivate others, we are giving you a three-bedroom bungalow and in addition to that, we will be giving you N5m.

Governor Abiodun stressed;

We believe that you will help inspire our teeming youths to channel their energies towards positive engagements and shun vices such as robbery, drug abuse, cultism, advanced fee fraud, cybercrimes and kidnapping amongst other negative tendencies.

The governor also promised that an entertainment village is being contemplated to nurture budding talents in the state and beyond.
